Warranty & Repairs
At Diane Harris Designs we stay true to the craft and stand behind the artistry that goes into each piece we design and make. We understand that even under normal use an occasional repair is necessary. Our policy covers defects in stitching and hardware malfunctions caused by an error in construction for a period of 3 years from date of purchase. Any alteration or misuse of the product will not be covered under this warranty. The repair is made at no charge, less shipping costs, with original proof of purchase required.
Repairs that are not due to a manufacturing defect will require pre-approval before we can accept the repair.
All sale, clearance and less-than-perfect sale items are not covered under this warranty.
Please note: It is normal for leather and waxed canvas to show the journey of the user. Since leather is a natural product and waxed canvas being similar, color, marks, scars, texture, and softening are a part of the aging process and will vary from leather hide to hide. Also, remember that natural products may vary in color and differ slightly from what may be seen on your display.
Return Policy
Returns or exchanges are accepted with prior authorization on regular items within 14 days of receipt. All products must be in original and unused new condition. Any Item found to be used, modified or not in original condition will be returned to sender at their expense. Refunds will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit that will be valid for 1 year from date of return acceptance. Merchandise credits are non-transferable and will not be re-issued if lost, stolen or destroyed.
All sale, clearance and less-than-perfect sale items are excluded from this policy and are unable to be returned or exchanged.
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items in the return shipment and encourage you to purchase insurance on your return or exchange.
